The SCOT Group
We are a group of people in our teens and upwards who experience learning difficulties, often with additional physical disabilities.
What we do:
Meet and make friends, socialise in a safe space, try various art and crafts, plan trips, listen to music and make music (group drumming), play bingo and other games - and, most of all, have fun! In the past we've done circus skills, woodwork, jewellery making, baking, sculpture, batik fabric painting, card making, mosaic, spin painting, tile painting, modroc modelling, soapstone carving, had film nights, and been on trips ten-pin-bowling, to the cinema, Blackpool illuminations, evenings on the beach and summer days out. We've also been on residential weekend trips away.Activities:
