The Mud Pack (Wycoller Country Park)
The Mud Pack is a practical conservation group which is part of the Woodland Oasis Project run by Lancashire Wildlife Trust. The project is improving a number of sites for wildlife as well as providing a safe, stimulating and accessible natural environment for young people to learn and play.
What we do:
Volunteers who are interested in getting outdoors, meeting new people and getting involved with some practical conservation will have the opportunity to get involved with activities including: • Fencing • Scrub clearance • Tree pruning/management • Small woodwork projects, such as bird feeders, minibeast hotels • Path maintenance • Tool care and maintenance • Other general practical tasksActivities:
All tasks will take place outdoors. Volunteers will need to be physically fit . No previous experience is needed.Links:
