Soroptimist International Lancaster
Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls with nearly 80,000 Members in 124 countries. Soroptimist International of Lancaster is one of a number of Soroptimist’s clubs in the North West Region. Our members come from all walks of life. The club is a very active one.
What we do:
We are engaged in a number of projects on a long term basis, e.g. providing support Life Education Centres for Lancashire, WaterAid, and creating and supplying story sacks to local primary schools. We also campaign on issues relating particularly to women and girls.Activities:
We meet twice a month at 7 pm, on the second and fourth Thursdays in The Holiday Inn in Lancaster. In addition to our business meetings, we invite outside speakers covering a diverse range of topics and enjoy social events.Links:
