Skool of Street

Skool of Street workshops and projects run during school holidays in Blackpool. Short projects are fun and skill based and offer young people the chance to explore and develop their creativity in a supportive environment. Longer projects run at easter and during summer holidays cumulating in a pop up performance or video.

What we do:

Skool of Street is a Performing Arts Charity, based in Blackpool. The organisation was established in 2013 to provide young people from different backgrounds in Blackpool workshops that build confidence, resilience & social skills. We focus on teaching new skills/techniques that the young people can feel empowered by their work and achievements. We work predominantly but not exclusively, with Urban Arts such as- Hiphop Dance, Graffiti art, Music Production,Rap and Lyric writing, Physical Theatre and Spoken word, and offer FREE workshops in all of the above.
