Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership – People Enjoying Nature Volunteers (Pendle)

People Enjoying Nature (PEN) is an outreach project which offers supported activity sessions in the Pendle Hill landscape to individuals and groups who are dealing with mental health and social isolation issues. Activity takes place across the Pendle area. Activity may include practical conservation tasks, creative tasks in landscape, archaeology, sessions with artists etc., which will link in with other PHLP projects or seasonal activity. What we do:

This role involves:  Supporting the Community Engagement Officer with the preparation and delivery of landscape and heritage based activity sessions to PEN participants.  Supporting participants and fellow volunteers throughout the sessions, offering help and advice when necessary  Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information  Assisting with resource creation, social media promotion and activity planning if wanted.  Working with other volunteers in accordance with the health and safety policy, safeguarding and other volunteering polies.

Activities:
