M3 Project Ltd Rossendale
The M3 Project is a charity supporting young people without a safe place to call home. We are based in Rossendale but cover the Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, Rossendale and Ribble Valley areas of East Lancashire.
What we do:We provide accommodation and support to young singles and young mums/mums to be, aged 16-21. We run a Supported Lodgings scheme for singles and provide accommodation for young mums in dispersed, furnished properties. All young people need to complete our on-line referral form prior to an assessment for a potential placement. We also have a homelessness prevention service called 'The Listening Project', which enables 15-17 year olds experiencing trouble at home to talk about how they feel. We are always looking for households with a spare room to join our supported lodgings team. If you are interested please contact us.
Activities:We develop a support plan with the young person covering budgeting, training and employment to enable the young person to move-on into their own accommodation and sustain a tenancy.
