Lancashire LGBT Walking Group
A friendly walking group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people in Lancashire
What we do:
The walks are usually on the 3rd Saturday of the month, starting at 11:00 am. Walks are generally between 4 and 7 miles. There are usually no walks in December or January. LGBT walkers may bring along a non-LGBT friend; dogs on leads are also welcome. Walks often involve crossing fields or going over stiles, and can be muddy in places so good walking shoes or boots are necessary. You also need to bring a packed lunch, water and a waterproof jacket in case of rain. We stop for lunch about half way round. Pub stop at the end of the walk for those who want it - most do!Activities:
Monthly walks of approx 4 to 7 miles - may be anywhere in Lancashire (check website or Facebook for details each month). If weather conditions are very bad, walks may be cancelled. Occasional social evenings, usually in the Preston area.Links:
