Friends Of Lune Bank Gardens (Lancaster)

Lune Bank Gardens is an historic site in the Skerton area of Lancaster. The land is next to the rowing club and was originally donated by Lord Ashton.

What we do:

We meet every Tuesday morning from 9 until 12. We are working to restore the gardens after many years of abandonment. We keep the footpaths clear, litter pick, prune trees and shrubs, plant bulbs and new plants and shrubs, cut grass and clear undergrowth. We have tools, we just lack manpower. Tasks to suit all abillities. Toilet facilities available.

Activities:

Various gardening tasks.
