Friends of Farington Lodge

Farington Lodges is a public open space located south of Lostock Hall. Formed through the construction of the railway, the site consists of three fishing lakes. An urban fringe site, Farington Lodges is a popular site used by anglers, dog walkers and families. Farington Lodges Angling Association lease and maintain the site. The lakes are stocked with mixed coarse fish and both memberships and day permits are available from Lostock Tackle Box, on 26 Watkin Lane, Lostock Hall, PR5 5RD.

What we do:

We meet up quarterly and discuss renovations to the land and planned activities for the community.

Activities:

Socialise, general get togethers and meet ups, Scouts groups, fundraising, fishing, birdwatching, nature walks, pond dipping, wildlife learning, outdoor learning, etc.
