Friends of East Pines Park

We help look after East Pines Park on the Blackpool / Cleveleys border. We look after the gardens, prepare the football pitch, the library gardens and ensure all the streets that lead up to the 3 entrances to the Park are kept tidy. We have lots of volunteers of all shapes, sizes and abilities and everyone is welcome. What ever we do we do it with a smile so everyone leaves the Park feeling happier than they started.

What we do:

We look after the gardens, the football pitch, the library gardens, alleyways and streets that surround the Park as well as pick up litter, and grow plants in our polytunnel. We also raise money to pay for the football coaching and new playground facilities. We are a fun happy group and in 6 years have raised around £160K for the regeneration of the Park.

Activities:

We meet every Tuesday from 11am and run activities covering gardening, planting, cleaning, littler picking and growing. We also run football coaching on friday evenings in the Park.
