Friends of Adlington Library
We are Friends of Adlington Library and we were set up in 2016. We provide a large range of activities for people of all ages. The FoAL Committee are a group of volunteers representing many aspects of life in Adlington and District. They are involved in local town and parish councils, the running of local community groups and societies and share a common interest in community cohesion and community learning. What we do:We run many activities. A Coffee Morning and Get together every Saturday Morning. A Stay and Play Group every Monday Morning. A Family History Group every month. An ITC Group every Wednesday. Reading Group every month. French class every Monday Evening. Craft events for all ages. Author talks. Book launch. Murder mystery Evening. Fashion shows. Activity Days for everyone. We are also planning a Community Cinema. Our aim is to create a space for social inclusion, having fun, and making friends.
Activities:Coffee Morning each Saturday from 10am to 12.15pm Stay and Play for babies and toddlers each Monday from 10am to 11.30am French class on Mondays from 6.45pm to 9pm ITC class Wednesday morning from 9am to 11.45am Regular Events and Activities.
