Fleetwood Town Community Trust: Gents walking football from Poolfoot Farm

Walking Football is focused on enabling men and women over 50 (also a female-only session for over 30’s) to get involved in sport and physical activity.

The Community Trust delivers five sessions on a weekly basis (see below for all details) these sessions provide opportunities for more men and women to keep active with us.

Walking football is now a nationally recognised sport and particularly in Wyre as the Fleetwood Flyers became national champions of the FA People’s Cup in 2018 playing at St. George’s Park.

Our walking footballers participate on the 3G pitches at Poolfoot Farm, and have seen over 120 local residents take part in the activities over the last 12 months.

What we do:
