CVS Covid-19 Support Rossendale

Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale CVS (Council for Voluntary Service) MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
We responded to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis from the very beginning to make a difference in the communities of Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale. So far we’ve helped hundreds of people to receive much needed food parcels, prescriptions and support during this unprecedented, challenging time for everyone. We’ve helped many wonderful people to volunteer to help their communities out through the difficulties we are all facing.

Please note: The postcode used is for our outreach office which is not always manned. It has been used to enable the search facility for Rossendale. The main office is on Yorkshire St. Burnley

What we do:

CVS have been working with the local hubs in a coordinated effort to provide support to the most vulnerable people in the area. They are also coordinating the volunteer support.

Activities:

Shopping, dog walking, collecting prescriptions, befriending and support, food parcels. CVS have their own £15 food bags containing basic items that they can deliver Thursdays and Fridays for people who are self isolating or can't get out.
