Claver Hill Community Food Growing Project and Nature Trail

We are a community of volunteers working together to grow fruit and veg of all kinds. We have developed a nature trail for education and enjoyment as we share the land with many other creatures.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, there are sessions most morning 10-2 and afternoons 1-4, for more details please get in contact.

What we do:

We grow food which all volunteers are welcome to take a share of. We sell some excess at markets to cover our expenses and share some with other community projects. We maintain the nature trail. Tasks are sowing seeds, planting out, watering, weeding, making paths, composting, mowing the lawn, creating art installations, designing signs and painting stones for numbering beds, harvesting, putting up wind breaks and bean poles, etc.

People choose the tasks they enjoy and feel comfortable doing.
