CAP Money – Ribble Valley
CAP Money is a free budgeting course that helps you make the most of money. Devised by Christians Against Poverty, it is offered in the Ribble Valley via St James’ Church, Clitheroe. The course is normally run over 3 group sessions. We also offer tailored courses and shorter sessions for primary, secondary and 6th form students. One recent course delegate commented “I can’t express enough how much this course has helped. It has transformed the way I look at my finances.”
What we do:The course is normally delivered at St James' Church, Clitheroe, in 3 sessions of around 90 minutes each (during Covid restrictions, the course is being delivered online via Zoom). Delegates are helped to identify their income and expenditure, create a sustainable budget, make best use of bank accounts and cash, and address any debts they may have. Delegates are given access to an online tool for creating and maintaining their personal budget. Next planned course dates: Wednesdays 5th, 12th and 19th May 2021; Tuesdays 5th, 12th and 19th October 2021
Activities:We are very happy to discuss options for providing the course e.g. to parent or community groups, as well as running tailored sessions/courses for primary, secondary and 6th Form students. Please contact Graham for a further discussion.
