Campfire & Conversation – Ribble Valley
Campfire & Conversation sessions operate at covid secure settings and promote time outside with a ‘no pressure’ environment where you can sit, explore, talk, think, or join in activities should you wish to. A great way to enjoy getting back outside in a safe and relaxed environment with like minded people. This session based at Bowley Scout Camp at Great Harwood and is a fully outdoor session. 9-11 am every Wednesday morning.
What we do:Campfire & Conversation is a self help group to promote positive health & wellbeing. Loosely based on Talking/listening circles and by the addition of a campfire, there is less pressure to fill the silence and therefore feel more comfortable concentrating on their personal needs, clearing their minds and being able to focus on what they need the most at that time. Attendees enjoy time in nature with other like minded people, with space to be. Weekly sessions are by a fully trained members of our team who are on hand to listen and talk should you wish. PLEASE NOTE: Due to covid restrictions, advance booking is essential and numbers are currently limited.
Activities:Each week there is a Campfire and then there is opportunity to take time out in nature, bird & nature id, self led exploring the area, meet new people and try new things. The groups are very much led by participants needs.
