Brierfield Action in the Community
Deliver community development initiatives to the local community, we are open Monday – Thursday with different activities ranging from Bingo to Craft club to community café. The centre offers a social area for people to meet and enjoy. We have a small team of staff and volunteers who endeavour to help anyone coming to our centre.
What we do:
Brierfield Action in the Community (BAIC) does exactly what our name suggests; providing well-known and much-loved activities for all those who live and work in our town. We’re based in the heart of Brierfield town centre, serving as an accessible and approachable resource for all people in the town. Our hub is our very own warm and welcoming café, serving coffee, cakes and companionship to anyone who comes through our doors. If you read about any of our projects in our blogs, social media posts and case studies, you’ll know that we like to talk about our ‘eyes on the ground’ approach to all of our work. This means that we love to get out and about in our own community.Activities:
