Age of Opportunity

Age of Opportunity is a free 1-1 support service offered by Lancashire Mind that helps people aged 50+ to overcome barriers to employment. We help with getting online, finding education and training opportunities, improving wellbeing, help with financial support such as benefit entitlement and debt, and support with the journey to finding employment. We have no time limit to our support and we may offer face-to-face where possible. This project is fully funded by the ESF and National Lottery.

What we do:

Eligibility criteria: Aged 50+ Unemployed (this is essential) Living in Lancashire

Activities:

Low level emotional therapeutic support Digital Skills Money, Debt, Benefits Advice Employment/Self Employment Getting into Education and Training Volunteering 1-1 Support (not time limited) Support with improving confidence and wellbeing
