Age of Opportunity

We are a mental health charity based across Lancashire who work with a number of different local organisations to run a project named ‘Age of Opportunity’. This is part of the Building Better Opportunities project funded by the European Social Fund and National Lottery Community Fund. We work with anybody who is aged 50+, unemployed or economically inactive, and living in Lancashire who would like support getting back into education, work or training.

*Can turn up to drop-in without contacting*

What we do:

We are setting up two weekly drop in sessions, starting 09/09/21 2pm-4pm, and the following Thursday 16/09/21 2pm-4pm at the location advertised. We welcome anybody who is interested in taking part in the project to drop in so that they can find out more, and get signed up. Then, if you are on the project, we can invite you along to the group sessions which start on 23/09/21. If you are interested in getting onto the project, please email us or give us a ring as we can get you signed up virtually too. Once these groups end mid October, the project will carry on so don't be put off by that. Whilst this particular group is based in Preston, we do accept people onto the project who are from across Lancashire, including West Lancashire.
