Advocacy means supporting somebody to become more involved in important decisions about their health and social care. So we help people to live the lives they want to live.
What we do:
Our Advocates help people who have difficulty with communicating their thoughts, needs and wishes. They may face difficulties with making decisions about how or where they are cared for. We provide high quality, free advocacy support that is completely independent of local authorities, the NHS and Social Services. We work in Lancashire, Trafford and Bradford.Activities:
Self-advocacy, Justice for LB Toolkit, Lancashire Advocacy Hub, Bradford Advocacy, Rochdale Advocacy, Trafford Advocacy Hub, East Lancashire Community Focus, Pen-demic Pals, Volunteers, Advocacy Friends, Mental Health First Aid Training.Links:
