Place Of Welcome Online

Places of Welcome is a growing network of local community groups providing their neighbourhoods with places where all people feel safe to belong, connect and contribute. These usually take place at The Bureau Centre for the Arts in Blackburn, but since Covid-19 we have had to postpone them.

We are now able to offer A Place of Welcome online.

At the first meeting we plan to have a relaxed chat, and get feedback from you, about what would make you feel safe when visiting public spaces, including The Bureau, and how can we make sure you feel part of our community even if you don’t feel safe to physically attend?

Once you have reserved your ticket, you will be sent a link for the Zoom meeting.

Additional Information

Visit the Bureau Centre for the Arts Ticketsource page each week to get the link for tickets (we are doing this to make it as safe as possible for people taking part). https://www.ticketsource.co.uk and search for the Bureau Centre for the Arts or email leonie@bureaublackburn.co.uk for the link. Themes will change each week depending on what people want to talk about and the conversations will last for 45 mins. So, grab a brew, pull up a chair and join the conversation. You will be very welcome.
