Our Lancashire Virtual Chat – Bringing Volunteers Back Safely
Join Our Lancashire and guests, for the next in a series of online events to support local community groups and organisations.
On Thursday 1st October – 2pm – 3pm, we’ll be having a conversation about how we bring volunteers back into their roles, in a safe and practical way.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of many different organisations. As we begin to resume normal society activities, local charities and community groups are exploring what they need to do to protect and support their volunteers so they have confidence to resume their valuable work.
In this session we will;
- Understand what our legal responsibilities are.
- Look at the guidance and support available to groups and charities.
- Hear how some local organisations have already resumed their activity.
- Consider which strategies are easy to implement, and what aspects have been trickier to facilitate.
If you have any additional needs, or issues registering or joining the event contact Gail via the mobile number below, and we’ll aim to get you up and running asap.
New to Zoom? You don’t need to be on camera. We welcome audio participants too. Just select the video off button.
