About The Lancashire Armed Forces Covenant Hub

Our Lancashire is partnered with Lancashire Armed Forces Covenant Hub, an organisation which aims to improve the delivery of the Armed Forces Covenant by working with local authorities within Lancashire.

The Hub aims to improve the delivery of the Armed Forces Covenant by working with all the local authorities within Lancashire, ensuring the covenant is both understood and honoured. This helps our forces communities transition into civilian life with increased resilience and wellbeing, to utilise their skills, develop new ones, and promote the sustainability of the groups who are seeking to support them to do so.

To achieve this, The Hub and its partners work closely with local armed forces champions and key stakeholders from other public and charity sectors. It operates as a partnership between Lancashire County Council, Army Headquarters North West, the NHS (Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation Trust) and UCLan.

How to find our Armed Forces Groups

As part of our partnership with The Hub, Our Lancashire aims to raise the profile of Armed Forces Groups across Lancashire. Therefore, we have a designated ‘Armed Forces’ category on our Groups page, to help signpost local armed forces groups in your community. Simply enter your area or postcode and select ‘Armed Forces’ from the drop down ‘Filter Groups’ section on the left hand side.

All armed forces groups on the website can also be easily identified by their union jack label, as circled below.

If you have an armed forces group or event you would like to add to our website,  click here to contact a member of our team or call 01772 416417.
